Hi Team

So you've been given a beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers. It's grandly wrapped for presentation. What Now? Well it all depends on how long you want the flowers to last. Some people will put the bouquet in water and call it a day, no judgement here, but if you want them to last as long as possible, have a look at my video and read the instructions below it.

Instructions for Flower Bouquet Care

1 Undo the bow, unwrap the cellophane holding the water and tip water out.

2 Take a clean vase and pour the flower food into it and then fill to about three quarters high.

3 Take your bouquet and trim the bottom of the stems, and on a 45 degree angle, then place the bouquet in the water.

Extra Tips

  • Flowers will last longer in cooler environments.

  • Top up the water every 2-3 days and give the stems another small snip.

  • Try to keep the bouquet away from the fruit bowl.

So that's the tips for getting the best longevity from your flowers. Cut flowers are true fleeting beauty so gaining a bit more time to appreciate the different stages of a bouquet can be worth the effort.

have a good week ahead

Laura
